Alto Beni, Bolivia

Sirene

/sirˈen/

Located on 1,500 acres deep in the Bolivian Amazon Basin, Volker Lehmann’s Hacienda Tranquilidad grows wild Beniano cocoa beans in an 850-acre natural estate. These tiny beans were the first cocoa beans designated certified “Heirloom” by the Heirloom Cacao Preservation Initiative (HCP). These extremely rare Heirloom cacao beans come from the low-lands of Bolivians in remote areas of the Beni regions (Huacaraje and Baures areas) and have delicious falvours of deep fudge overlaid by dried fruit, honey and coffee.

Ingredients: cocoa beans, organic cane sugar, organic cocoa butter.

Made in a nut free facility, soy free, gluten free, milk free (though made in a facility that used milk powder so may contain traces).
