Parainema is a hybrid created in Honduras to be leaf rust resistant and effective against nemotodes associated with proximity to banana plants/trees. It's also fairly polarizing on the cupping table with many admirers and several detractors. But guess what, we wouldn't offer Carlos's parainema lot if we didn't love it. Parainema is known for herbaceousness and acidity. This one is very juicy - sugarcane-ish, heaps of salmonberries and candied lime. Full-on zinger for acidity nerds.
